Bernard
a toujours aidé à faire valoriser la foresterie, la faune
et la flore auprès de la population, mais surtout chez les jeunes,
et fait découvrir des sites privilégiés non fréquentés. |

In 1984, Bernard took an oil painting course and continued to paint for a period of time. Following several years of reflection and contemplation, he returned to his painting in 1993. He paints animals and landscapes. His childhood as a farmer's son working with horses on the farm and in the forest influenced his vision as a painter. His vast experience with nature and animals also inspire him when he sits down before his canvas. He adores hunting, fishing and trapping. His passion for Mother Nature has no bounds. It is very important to him to optimise the results of his passions both as a hunter and a trapper. He maximises the use of the captured animal: venison, furs, paintings and sculpture on skulls, recuperation of claws ant teeth for the creation of jewellery, sculpture on moose antlers, painting on fungus and much more. Bernard has always
been an advocate of forestry, flora and fauna to the general population,
but especially with young people and he helps them to discover less
frequented privileged sites. |
